Drop Shipping

We are an online-only luxury furniture and lighting boutique, and do not have a warehouse. Consequently, all orders are drop shipped directly from our manufacturers to your door. If your order includes items from more than one manufacturer, you will receive multiple deliveries. Because we are dependent on the on-hand inventory of our manufacturing partners, some items listed on our site may not actually be available right away. Please call us at 888.784.4644 or via our contact form with any stocking questions and we'll get in touch with the appropriate manufacturer for answers, before you place your order.

Ground Shipping

Small parcel items ship regular ground via delivery services such as FedEx, UPS or DHL. Orders typically take 2-3 business days to process and in-stock items will usually be delivered 3-5 days from the date that they ship (depending on origin and destination). If there is a delay, you will be notified by email. No signature is required for standard ground shipping, so you may want to make arrangements to have packages brought inside soon after delivery, if you are unable to receive it in person.

Description

A solitaire pressure setting band ring is a striking and modern piece of jewelry that showcases a single gemstone in a distinctive and secure manner. Unlike traditional settings, the pressure setting uses a unique approach where the gemstone is held in place by the band’s inherent tension rather than traditional prongs or bezels.

In a pressure setting, the gemstone is embedded within the band, which is precisely engineered to create enough tension to securely hold the stone without the need for additional metal to encase it. This design allows the gemstone to appear as if it is floating above the band, offering an unobstructed view and enhancing its brilliance and sparkle. The result is a contemporary, minimalist look that highlights the stone as the central focus of the ring.

The band itself is typically crafted from high-quality metals such as platinum, white gold, yellow gold, or rose gold. These materials are chosen for their durability and ability to complement the gemstone’s beauty. The metal is meticulously shaped to apply the necessary pressure to keep the stone firmly in place, ensuring both security and elegance.

Pressure setting band rings are often chosen for their modern aesthetic and their ability to showcase the gemstone in a unique and unobstructed manner. They are popular for engagement rings, anniversary bands, or as a statement piece for various occasions. The sleek design of the pressure setting ring combines functionality with style, making it a sophisticated choice for those who appreciate both innovation and classic beauty.

Overall, a solitaire pressure setting band ring exemplifies contemporary elegance, offering a secure and stylish way to display a single, stunning gemstone.

  • Pressure Setting: Unlike traditional settings, a pressure setting holds the gemstone securely in place using the band’s inherent tension. This method allows the stone to appear as if it’s floating above the band, providing an unobstructed view and enhancing its brilliance.
  • Minimalist Design: The pressure setting emphasizes a clean, minimalist design by eliminating the need for prongs or bezels. This sleek approach highlights the gemstone as the central focus, making the ring's appearance both sophisticated and contemporary.
  • High-Quality Metal: The band is typically crafted from durable and high-quality metals such as platinum, white gold, yellow gold, or rose gold. These metals not only enhance the ring’s aesthetic appeal but also provide the necessary strength to securely hold the gemstone under pressure.
  • Enhanced Brilliance: By allowing more light to pass through the gemstone without obstruction, the pressure setting maximizes the stone’s sparkle and brilliance. This setting style is designed to showcase the gemstone’s natural beauty to its fullest potential.
  • Secure Hold: Despite the minimalist design, the pressure setting provides a secure hold for the gemstone. The band is precisely engineered to create the right amount of tension, ensuring that the stone stays firmly in place while offering a streamlined look.
